In the presentation of results from the second round of the National Survey on Child Malnutrition (ENDI), the National Institute of Statistics and Census (INEC) revealed that in the past year, chronic malnutrition among children under 2 years old was recorded at 19.3%.
Through our program, we aim to educate mothers and children about the significance of a balanced diet and its impact on both physical and mental well-being. We will provide practical tools to enhance family nutrition and promote healthy habits in daily life. Our approach will be tailored to the specific ages and developmental needs of each group, ensuring that both mothers and children can make the most of the food available in their communities. We also encourage the use of substitutes that offer the same nutritional value, empowering families to eat well within their means.
